I’m taking part in a poetry event on Wednesday 10th April at Blackwell’s bookshop, Mappin Street, Sheffield. I’m performing with the poets Kathy Towers, Laura Webb, and John Challis. The reading begins at 6.30 p.m.
The Longbarrow Press exhibition Scale at Bloc Projects (Sheffield) featured a series of film collaborations involving artists and poets who focused on ideas of micro and macro perspectives of the world. As part of this initiative, I produced a film-poem entitled ‘Skin’ with the photographer Karl Hurst. The work focuses on a period of illness in my life and also functions as a commentary on the wider social and political landscape of my teenage years. The work can be accessed and viewed here.
