a River

Your purling black heart
gives up petals from street lights
one silver lily
At the end of a recent reading of the poems, the Haiku below was projected, word by word as a mirror image, onto a factory at the back of the 'Gardeners' pub in Neepsend. The words then emerged from their reflections in the River Don.
