Mark Goodwin will launch his new poetry collection STEPS (Longbarrow Press) at The Red Deer, Sheffield on Sunday 7th December at The Fat Cat pub, Alma Street, Sheffield. He will be reading at 7.30 p.m. along with two other Longbarrow Press poets, Angelina Ayers and Fay Musselwhite.
Steps is filled with poems about walking through various terrains – England, Ethiopia, Scotland, Spain and Wales. The pieces consider movement but also apportion time and space to pausing in landscapes and contemplating the scenes that our narrators are moving through.
A full range of Longbarrow Press titles will be available at a pre-Christmas discount. The admission is free; all are welcome.
